Meet Your Consultant

Liz has worked in the field of lactation since 1999, doing so initially as a neonatal nurse. She began working exclusively in lactation in 2003 and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2004. Her experience includes helping families navigate a wide range of lactation challenges. She brings an engaged, curious approach to her work, and she has an unwavering commitment to helping families in meaningful, outcome-oriented ways. She is a member of USLCA and ILCA, and she actively pursues continuing education in many aspects of lactation. In 2022, she opened Asheville Lactation Consulting.

When Liz isn’t helping families, she enjoys gardening, cooking, renovating her old home and doing needlework. She lives in Asheville with her husband and two children.
